The house of a guy that collects everything that moves with the wind:

It deserves a detail:
From inside a bulding:

some street art

Theres quite a few stencils around the city centre, this one reads: "love is a dog from hell"

"do i open the fence? there is a world out there. The black sheep":

"Happy lie. The rich people needs you. Consume and work":

This is funny: somebody draw a esvastika, and somebody else draw on top a square making the logo of windows :D humour to fight fascism, brilliant!
Up the avenue of Secano, theres a few proper grafs, the rasta shouts:

And this is the cover of the blog, i just love this one:

Walk in the centre

In the plaza Juan de Lima theres a little white church...

...a facade with palm leaves and the dr. Urculo Burgaz dental clinic...

...a house built by English in eclectic style:

...and the back of the eclectic building makes it even more eclectic :P

and an Alpargateria...I dont think theres many shops in Spain still called flip-flop shop:

From the back street of the Plaza Juan de Lima,

we arrive to a "back square":

The market (el mercado de Abastos o Mercado Ingeniero Torroja) is a dome of almost 50 m diameter, 9 cm thick and resting only in the 8 periferic columns. It was the biggest dome of his type since its construction in 1935 until 1960. The south east view of this building, milestone of spanish architecture in the xx century:

North west view:
A couple of details:

An old woman sits in La Plaza Alta:

Detail of the fountain of La Plaza Alta:

My favourite building in la Plaza Alta, the abandoned house of a doctor...unfortunately it might be destroyed soon :(

The church in Plaza Alta that CamarĂ³n used to sing to:

The view of the port of Al jazera al hadra and Jebr al Tarik

Sculpture of Almansur 1000 years after his death, who is believed to be born in Algeciras, aparently theres some dispute:
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almanzor
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algeciras_(Espa%C3%B1a)

The sculpture is placed in the recently found Merinies buildings in an excavation dating around12th century...quite far in time and culture from almansur himself. All the bay could be seen in old times of Algeciras, nowadays blocks of apartments cover the view of Almansur...

Theres curious architectural pieces everywhere:

*homonimo decierto club de futbol creado aki por ciertos personajes a los ke tuve la oportunidad de conocer en el ambigu del campo :P

Through the forbidden road that leads to a magic stone beach

Basically, in a forbidden road through militar area:

In there theres a construction las pantallas (the screens, cos they screen the view of the road from the city in the only point that is visible. Is is built in a Gaudian organic style:

A local artist even told me that the engineer who built it was a disciple of Gaudi, could be...is around the same time...

From the top of the mountain looking back to algeciras the rock can be seen in plenitude:

The cows about to take the road to Gibraltar:

Blurred view of the lighthouse close to the beach:

A mountain in Africa and the fisherman in Europe:

The beach is sculpted by the violent winds in the meeting point of the Atlantic and the Mediterraneo:
A detail of a stone that could well be an cool block of apartments designed by Gaudi himself...he was a disciple of the wind :)
